Day out to Enfield
Went to Enfield today to help Mike set up his new room. He moved from one of his aunt's place to another aunt's place. Basically he was moving in from a small room that could only fit a bunk bed (which he shared with his brother) to a spacious single room (but still sharing with his brother) detached from the house. It's like a garden house but renovated la...lol! It was a nice place. I like his cousin sisters' room! It's like a attic room where the ceiling is slanting and there's like a window at the top! You can stick your head out to the top of the house! Nice. Tapi mereka suka pakai kasut dalam rumah dan lantai kelihatan bersih sekali...faham2 lah...apabila hujan, lagi bersih! lol!
I had a shock when he opened his wardrobe. He had at least 15pairs of jeans and at least 20pairs of shoes...NO JOKE! And I thought I was having too many clothes and shoes! Mind you, he's the kind of guy that doesn't care about what he wears and he have that many shoes and clothes! *Excuses for more shopping* =p
Enfield is not far but the public transport there is madness! You have to take a tube down all the way to Central London from North West and then up back to the North East. The journey is just taxing. Anyway, Ponders End has changed quite a bit...new shops and developments. Most importantly, Greggs is still there and I bought two choc chip cookies =D Bahahahah! LOL! Went Pizza Hut for early dinner as I have to leave before dark...enough to satisfy my KFC cravings for the time being.
Okay! Need to get some studying done!

First movie since summer

Wasn't that nice...just average. I realized that he's very physical. Not like the typical 007...gentleman =p (Next movie to watch: Saw V)
Anyway, dinner tonight...
Pasta with carrots, peas and frankfurters in sweet and sour sauce. LOL! No pasta sauce =p
Someone ate my baked beans! Arseys! I ate half a can and kept the balance in the fridge. When I reached for it today, AGAIN there was an evident spoon mark! Obviously, it's less than half a can! Ish! Can't keep my food unattended in the fridge! @#%$^@^!#$ Next time I'll lick my spoon and stir my food in the fridge in front all of my flatmates!
Yes the weather is still horrible! Cold and wet!

More work-sucks story.
I was put on the 1st floor on tills today. I think they sell Football teams stuff and boys and some men's stuff (I think). So yea, it wasn't that bad...I prefer being on tills than on shop floor as I know nothing about where the things are. Anyway, it was about 2.40pm and my colleague, Z-man (he asked me to call him that) came and told me:
Z-man: Hey Melissa, you know our manager Paul? He said you will finish your shift at 3pm because we have enough staff today. So sorry about that yea.
Me: *TNMCH-Inappropriate phrase* What?! Oh...owh-kay....
I expressed my pissed-ness to at least 5of the staffs so hopefully it will travel to the silly management! You don't put people on a short enough 4hr shift and send them home after 3hours! That's stpd! One of my colleague sounded real shock and so I assume it never happened before in the shop. I guess they thought I was new so I was bully-able. Big mistake, honey! That's all I'm saying.
So I left at 3pm and it was raining. Great! Looks like a long one so I just walked in the rain with my hood on. As I was waiting in the bus stop, a bus (which is not mine) came and a pakistani guy standing beside me nudged me and said:
HamSap guy: Are you not going in the bus?
Me: No?
HamSap guy: Why not?
Me: Because it's not my bus?
HamSap guy: Oh. Then which bus are you taking?
Me: Erm...(almost told but snapped out of it seeing his ham sap face) WHY?!?
HamSap guy: Because I want to go with you *ham sap smile*
Me: Erm. That's okay, I can go by myself.
HamSap guy's friends: *spoke their language while boarding the bus and pulling ham sap guy along*
Me: *Wtf face, whatever face*
Finally got back and my track bottom was soaked in rain. I was wrapped up like a mel-dumpling at the top half but not the bottom. LOL! Made a cup of ginger tea and...

Back to serving rude customers.
My second day at work and it's the first day of horrible customer attack. In Enfield, we have a phone by the tills but we are NOT allowed to pick it up. In Brent Cross on the other hand, they have a phone and we MUST pick up. Stupid idea! Thus, my first day of being verbally abused by a b*atch!
I was serving her and she was making the payment. I haven't finish checking her clothes for security tags and the phone rang. She was keying in her code for the debit card so I thought I could pick up the phone first. I picked up and was talking and then she interrupted me saying, "Can I take my clothes now? I'm in a hurry!" and I saw the receipt in her hand (which only comes out after a transaction has gone through) so I said, "Yea yea...sorry to keep you waiting". 5 minutes later my manager came to the tills with the bag of clothes and she was following behind. Fark!
B*atch: "This is ridiculous! I don't have all day you know and I have to come all the way up here! Yea you (referring to me), if you were paying more attention to your work and not talking on the phone you wouldn't have left the tags on! Look look! She left the whole thing there! What is this?!"
Me: *silence with a lil smirk on my face* (because if I was in Enfield, I'd shut her up already)
Manager: "Excuse me, I didn't bring you up here to abuse her verbally. Okay? That's enough. We'll put a stop to it."
B*atch: "No! People will think I'm a thief now! Do you know how embarrassing it is?!"
Manager: "No one called you a thief, okay."
My supervisor stood there like a dunggu and said nothing. He didn't even defend me saying that I had to attend the blardy non-stop ringing phone! Not that I'm judging him but on the very first day he already showed his true colours. Major shoe-licker! He was showing me the shop floor and as he talks to me, his eyes and head was facing the managers (all the time)! Trying to show them that he's "working". No further comment.
As I left the shop, my manager was at the door and he said the customer (the b*atch) came back to the store and insisted that I didn't give her back her card. *MCH-Inappropriate curse phrase*! I told him, if she's got the receipt in her hands means she took the card out! The receipt wouldn't even print if the card is still in the machine! Funniest thing, he told me she went to the point that she demanded to view the CCTV (which we won't allow). Then she went through her purse and took out a card and didn't make further fuss and said to call her after we view the CCTV and left (he thinks it's that card and she is embarrassed to admit her mistake). B*atch!
Then my manager told me my shifts for next week and I'm working 2pm-7pm next Sunday. I told him I can't work pass 4pm. He said if all his staff said that, he would have to shut the door early and tell the customers his staff doesn't want to work in the evening. I know it's a little demanding but...not all (or any) of his staff requested what I requested right?! *blek* Fire me if you like but I think it will be a bad move because I know more than my supervisor (seriously, not bragging!). My supervisor's been working there for only 3months and I can work the till way faster than him. Thanks to Enfield! LOL!
The rest of my Halloween day is spent in my room. Sad.
