I was driving home from Times Square today after watching Surrogates on a huge ass screen theater, which by the way was fantastic =p and there were only like 10 of us in the whole cinema!!! That was so cool! LOL!

Anyway, as I was driving, I was listening to Fly fm and a familiar tune came on and I was actually surprised that Malaysia allows such song to be aired. When the chorus came, I understood why it was allowed to be aired;

Break free...(just for the weekend)

Yesterday I did the freakiest thing ever! (Not really =p)

There was a drama in the house. One of my housemate and her friends had a confrontation with another girl. Well lets say...it didn't turn out well. The house was filled with shouting, screams, tears, and a little table banging. LOL! I was in the room next door, having a first class audio (only) experience. No, I did not breach any privacy...heck I could hear it even from my room upstairs! LOL! Anyway, I was given approval to be in that room lah.

To make it short, some b*tch can really b*tch! Some of them could do it to an extent of not feeling sorry or regret for the consequences! Anyway, my poor housemate was shaken up with all the drama as she was shouting her lungs out...trust me, the audio is enough to draw the picture! So after the whole thing ended, we decided to go out and have dinner...none of us wanted to cook (duh)! My housemates are kind of a movie junkie as they have this unlimited pass where they pay 11pounds a month to watch UNLIMITED movies anytime!!! One student price ticket cost 4.90! Lucky them =.=

So they checked for movie timings and the only movie we agreed on was Orphan (yes Nick, you beat me to it!). However, the movie is at 11.40pm and it was 9pm that time. LOL! It was a Friday night and it's the best day of the week for me...after all those hours in the office! Gosh! Couldn't wait to have some fun! Adding to that, all the drama in the house...so much more reason to go for that movie! Hence, we did.

The movie ended at 2am. Took a night bus back and we had to walk about 20minutes to our house...in the SUPER silent housing area...after watching Orphan. Great! There was this point where one of my housemate talked about the dog opposite our house barking one night and she heard a baby crying. I swear I walked a taaaaaad bit faster. LOL! And I keep changing the topic. Heck, you would too! =p

The movie was great, as mentioned by Nick. After the movie, us girls also talked about the talented girl in the movie. She did a great job! It is not easy acting a role like that. I remember a scene where the dad tried to explain to her (Esther, the 'orphan') about what adults do in bed when they love each other alot and she said, "Yeah, they fuck." LOL!

Today was a sinful day! I did shopping! Loads of it! Bought two pairs of shoes, a dress, two shorts and a pair of shorts for my mum. I was soooooo tempted to get a pair of suede boots that I've been wanting to get for a long time which I didn't got round to as it was kinda pricey before. New Look is selling theirs for 7pounds! The cheapest I found months ago was 25pounds! Due to the fear of spending too much, I decided to not get it. I regretted. Hence, I AM GOING BACK THERE TO GET IT TOMORROW! LOL! Hopefully they still have my size! Pictures tomorrow.

Short update.

Been a hectic week! One of my housemate left for Malaysia yesterday and we had a surprise Farewell party for her. It was fun. We sang...a lot! LOL! I don't have the pictures at the moment as they are all in my housemates' camera.

I can't find the damn receipt to my New Look formal skirt that costed me 8pounds! I always keep receipts but for some reason, I don't have this one =(

It is too big and I desperately need to change it! Hopefully I can use my bank statement as a proof of purchase?! SW allows that! Fingers crossed!

I do not even have the time to go and change it! Working from 10-6pm everyday and most New Look shops closes at 5.30pm the latest! Tuuuuuut!

Going and gone...

Who is going? He is going. What is gone? My senses! LOL! Too much horror movie?! Nah...

He is at the airport now =( Going away for two weeks and two days. My phone would be silent again (not like it has been very busy anyway =p). What is two weeks compared to three months?! LOL! I will miss him but I will be fine =) Oh the picture we took at Studio London finally arrived! This was the printed copy so I had to wait for them to send it to me.

Okay I know this looks super cheesy! LOL!

For some reason, I still think I look FAT in this picture!

I have been horror movie marathon-ing lately as I am bored as hell without a job. I have watched at least two horror movies in a day plus other chick flicks and TV series. Damn. I need a life! Oh...what's a post without food =)

Toasted multi grain bread with avocado and melted cheese.

Because my cheese was expiring...LOL!
I made pasta with ham and cabbage and tomato sauce. Then emptied the whole bag of grated mozzarella and cheddar cheese on my pasta.

Then into the oven to melt to perfection!

Because I had apples and was craving for dessert...I made apple cake(s).

It looks yummy!!! Crunchy top!

Ate the first one with a bar of dark chocolate coated vanilla ice-cream.

And had the second one with custard.

Back to School!

First day of Uni today (after the break that is)! Lecture wasn't too bad but the lecturer is kinda weird =S LOL! Anyway...

Bread with avocado and cheddar cheese.

Me, Ching Yee and Kyle went to June's for dinner. Got myself a plate of Seafood 'Wattan Mai' =D Nice...but obviously not as nice as the one in Malaysia =.= The seafood helping is very generous here but the noodles is weird! Only the bottom bit of the vermicelli noodles are burnt. Basically they boil the noodles and drop the whole lump on a wok after straining it. So yea, the middle is boiled noodles texture =.= Can't complain...that's England for you =p We ate at 5.30pm and sat till 7pm or so...AND my cravings for sweet stuff came up AGAIN! Hence...

Asked for the dessert menu and ordered Banana Fritters with Ice Cream. It's soooooooo nice! Kyle had Toffee Banana with Ice Cream. I tried it and I am definitely going to order his the next time! Super NICE!

First movie since summer

I am procrastinating my assignments alot! Should stop! So many things to do and I haven't started yet. I really should start! Need a wake up call!!! Anyway, went to the cinema yesterday. After such a long time! Had popcorn too =D Kinda food craze lately =p I feel like eating fried chicken...KFC! I also feel like eating cake! A nice pandan sponge cake...or cheesecake...or any chilled fresh-creamed cake...*faints* Anyway, watched...

Wasn't that nice...just average. I realized that he's very physical. Not like the typical 007...gentleman =p (Next movie to watch: Saw V)

Anyway, dinner tonight...

Pasta with carrots, peas and frankfurters in sweet and sour sauce. LOL! No pasta sauce =p

Someone ate my baked beans! Arseys! I ate half a can and kept the balance in the fridge. When I reached for it today, AGAIN there was an evident spoon mark! Obviously, it's less than half a can! Ish! Can't keep my food unattended in the fridge! @#%$^@^!#$ Next time I'll lick my spoon and stir my food in the fridge in front all of my flatmates!

Things to keep me busy

I burnt my fried rice! With ham, shrimps, egg, vege and everything nice in it! Had to throw the whole thing. My brother would have ate it but I don't like eating food with burnt taste...it doesn't look burnt but...it is =p Sad but oh well.

I did not get my NEW pan yet. Waiting patiently. Classes are starting and yes, there are plenty of notes and journals to read...

I am really starting to get bored staying in my room so I decided to go out exploring =) It was a long day. Went to Thames Valley University, South Ealing campus (my friend's uni) to tour around...omfg! That Uni is way better than Mdx Enfield campus! They have a culinary department too and as I enter, the smell is just great! They even have a cabinet of figurines and creations made of dark and white chocolates! Not to mention the two huge cabinets of framed up trophies they won!!! Then I went to the Student Union bar to have a game of pool with my friend and I won =p

After that, my friend took me around the area and we went in couple of shopping complexes. Nice area...duh! It's in Zone 3. lol! After that we went to Wood Green to walk around. Even more shopping malls but my friend says, "I've no patience when it comes to shopping with girls" =.=" so we just walked around and went back to the not-so-pleasing Ponders End...

Then when I got back, I took a quick nap as I had to prepare to go out movie with the M'sian girls. We were 20minutes late but the trailers and ads go on for 30minutes so we did not miss the show =)

It's predictable but still nice =)

After movie, we got hungry (Duh!) and went to eat at a Turkish Restaurant. It's the first time I had a typical Turkish food (well second but the first was a looong time ago) and it was marvellous! We split the bill and each of us paid 2.60pounds and we could not even finish the food! The portion was huge!!! Very berbaloi! Will definitely go again.

Yesterday BC and Danny came to our flat for dinner. As everyone was busy at work and I was the only 'free' person, I went to get the food. We had a blasting meal!
