Latest shopa du-doo~

As you can see the dates on the picture itself, my latest shopping was last year =p LOL! Anyway, I was out for some retail therapy and got some deals =) Pictures not that awesome but still viewable so...yeah =) Below are few of the dresses I bought for only 2GBP each!!! Yeah, the shop was closing down so EVERYTHING in the shop was going at 5pieces for 10pds!!! Woooooootss!

This dress under was also in the 2pds deal. But the jacket is from another shop...Primany =p lol! And it was on sale for 5pds. Love the military detail!

This dress was so flowy and pretty but unfortunately, it doesn't fit! It is not really visible here but the sides are a little too wide...My arms are hiding the extra bits on the side so it looks like a perfect fit. Can't be doing that at a party now...can I? LOL! Return!!! =(

Going back to work tomorrow (acutally today) after a two week Christmas/New Year break. Hopefully I would be as hard working as my bestie, Grace Lee who turns up for work AN HOUR earlier everyday. Bless her! =) That's all from me now! XOs!

This is the statue my mum INSISTED on buying at the 2nd last day she was in London =.= And it was in a shop at the tube station! Keng right? Tube station also she can buy something. My mum. LOL!

This is a flat I always pass by when I go to work. Totally love the concept! The 'balcony' is fully glassed from top to bottom and it is like round instead of the common squared ones.

Totally fell in love with this dress when I tried it on! Best of all, the tag says it was 8pounds but it was reduced to 5pounds at the tills! Woooooot! The material is thick and the bust area actually have wiring. Fantastic!

Break free...(just for the weekend)

Yesterday I did the freakiest thing ever! (Not really =p)

There was a drama in the house. One of my housemate and her friends had a confrontation with another girl. Well lets say...it didn't turn out well. The house was filled with shouting, screams, tears, and a little table banging. LOL! I was in the room next door, having a first class audio (only) experience. No, I did not breach any privacy...heck I could hear it even from my room upstairs! LOL! Anyway, I was given approval to be in that room lah.

To make it short, some b*tch can really b*tch! Some of them could do it to an extent of not feeling sorry or regret for the consequences! Anyway, my poor housemate was shaken up with all the drama as she was shouting her lungs out...trust me, the audio is enough to draw the picture! So after the whole thing ended, we decided to go out and have dinner...none of us wanted to cook (duh)! My housemates are kind of a movie junkie as they have this unlimited pass where they pay 11pounds a month to watch UNLIMITED movies anytime!!! One student price ticket cost 4.90! Lucky them =.=

So they checked for movie timings and the only movie we agreed on was Orphan (yes Nick, you beat me to it!). However, the movie is at 11.40pm and it was 9pm that time. LOL! It was a Friday night and it's the best day of the week for me...after all those hours in the office! Gosh! Couldn't wait to have some fun! Adding to that, all the drama in the house...so much more reason to go for that movie! Hence, we did.

The movie ended at 2am. Took a night bus back and we had to walk about 20minutes to our house...in the SUPER silent housing area...after watching Orphan. Great! There was this point where one of my housemate talked about the dog opposite our house barking one night and she heard a baby crying. I swear I walked a taaaaaad bit faster. LOL! And I keep changing the topic. Heck, you would too! =p

The movie was great, as mentioned by Nick. After the movie, us girls also talked about the talented girl in the movie. She did a great job! It is not easy acting a role like that. I remember a scene where the dad tried to explain to her (Esther, the 'orphan') about what adults do in bed when they love each other alot and she said, "Yeah, they fuck." LOL!

Today was a sinful day! I did shopping! Loads of it! Bought two pairs of shoes, a dress, two shorts and a pair of shorts for my mum. I was soooooo tempted to get a pair of suede boots that I've been wanting to get for a long time which I didn't got round to as it was kinda pricey before. New Look is selling theirs for 7pounds! The cheapest I found months ago was 25pounds! Due to the fear of spending too much, I decided to not get it. I regretted. Hence, I AM GOING BACK THERE TO GET IT TOMORROW! LOL! Hopefully they still have my size! Pictures tomorrow.

Short update.

Been a hectic week! One of my housemate left for Malaysia yesterday and we had a surprise Farewell party for her. It was fun. We sang...a lot! LOL! I don't have the pictures at the moment as they are all in my housemates' camera.

I can't find the damn receipt to my New Look formal skirt that costed me 8pounds! I always keep receipts but for some reason, I don't have this one =(

It is too big and I desperately need to change it! Hopefully I can use my bank statement as a proof of purchase?! SW allows that! Fingers crossed!

I do not even have the time to go and change it! Working from 10-6pm everyday and most New Look shops closes at 5.30pm the latest! Tuuuuuut!

Shopping fixated hence the spree!

Early this morning I was all excited waiting for THE time. According to the weather forecast, it would be a rainy day...as in the whole day! So technically, it would be the worst day to go out. However, my ass is itching to go out! Yesterday alone I watched 4movies? Pfft! So I figured I better go out and have a walk *cough cough* (I planned to go shopping). I am starting my work experience job (not paid) in an insurance company on Monday so I needed some stuff to prepare for that. Mainly things to be used on rainy days as I would have to walk a distance to get the bus to the office. Well lets say when it comes to shopping, SOMETIMES things goes out of hand *big grin*

Finally! Been wanting to get an umbrella for ages!

Pink neon tights- 98pence
Fishnet tights (2pair)- 1pound.This is essential! As I mentioned couple of posts before, the sole of most of my shoes are cracked so I need a pair of boots that would be wearable during the rainy weather too.
Funny enough, this was the ONLY design of boots in Primark (all sandals and pumps). There were only 3pairs left; size 4, 5 and this is a size 7! I usually wear 5/6 but this 5 was too tight. So I took size 7, a little too big but...5pounds (RRP:15pounds)! WTF?! GRAB!

This may look random. Well I have yet to pimp it up =)

I need a pair of multi purpose and comfy pair of shoes for long distance walking. I know, you guys in Malaysia must be thinking why on earth did I bought a pair of 'prefect shoes'...well, this is THE IN thing here. A normal pair of black pumps which we Malaysians wear for shopping, is their school shoes! Ironic. LOL! The most common colours are white, black and grey. I would have taken grey but there wasn't any in my size. White needs high maintenance and it's so...school shoes! At least black is prefect's shoes. HAHAHA! Oh and only 1.96pounds (Giler cheap!)

Ohh this is the first time I bought something from H&M (I think). It is 2 for 1! They were perfect cutting too! LOVE at first TRY! I queued for over 30minutes just to try on 6pairs of shorts in Primark and NONE of them fitted me nicely! Well there was one but it was 11pounds for a super thin material. Decided that it wasn't worth the price.

Look at the shorts!!! *hearts* The material is like formal working shorts, not denim. Nice!

Ohh and I bought the top too. Unnecessary buy but...it was reduced to 1pound! LOL! (yes, the price tag is still stuck on *pai seh*)

Second pair of shorts. Always wanted a blue denim pair of shorts!

This was so random too! I saw it on the reduced rack and I took it out to have a look. Loved the material. Due to the massive queue for the fitting room, I just tried it on in front of a reflective wall with my clothes under. Totally loved how it came out! So vintage (a little Mischa Barton)! Perfect with my fishnet tights =p

Oh and it was reduced from 13pounds to 5pounds!

This was on the same reduced price rack and I tried it on with my clothes under too. Love the colour...lime green. This is so Lady Gaga...Retro! Reduced from 11pounds to only a fiver =)

Besides the shorts (H&M), everything else was from Primark. Who says cheap is ugly?! Pfft! And who says Primark stuff are cheap quality? Pfft! Okay some of them are but you just have to choose the good quality ones which would eventually be reduced to the same price as the cheap quality ones. Hence, you would get good quality ones for a cheap price! This is called wise spending. LOL! Says a shopaholic. Bwhahahhaha!

Best of all, it didn't rain one bit when I was out the whole day! LOL! It was a little chilly because there was thunderstorms early in the morning but I only went out just before noon as the shops open at noon. Anyway, productive day =D Looking forward to start work tomorrow!

My relative gave me a HUGE bag of 'wild garlic' (the green stalks with white flowers). Basically I can stir-fry it or use it as a garnish like spring onion or...too lazy to try other styles. LOL! She got it from a park! Free vege growing in parks...COOL! Free vege for me...SUPA-COOL! =p But it certainly feels weird eating the flowers. It was supposed to be a bud when you cook it but because it's been some days, the flowers are starting to bloom! LOL! Whatever...still food!
