Yeay! Got a gift card from New Look for the returns of my over-sized skirt. Time for more shopping! It's FRIDAY tomorrow!!! Can't wait! Love weekends! LOL! Saturday is shopping day! Wooot!

Weather these few days is HUMID! Never thought London would feel like Malaysia! It was 27degrees but it felt like 32!!! I have been wearing spaghetti strap tops to work these few days. The heat is intense! Yet, today the rain poured like no body's business =.= And that was the day I 'semangatly' went to Asda...because I was craving for spinach soup for dinner. Hence, bought FROZEN CHOPPED SPINACH from asda. Also resulted to some temptations...TWO boxes of STRAWBERRIES and a box of MAGNUM (3 inside) and a box of CORNETTO (6 cones). Bagus!

I need sleep! Goodnight.

Fairytales

I was reading Grace's blog and I came across something which I personally think does not make sense. The post was from a forwarded email so this post is not about me debating with her post but more like me debating against the concept of artificial-fairytale-like assumptions. LOL!

Holdin Hands

(I can tell you, some insensitive guys would say, "Why are you walking into me?!" Yeap, I know!)

I wouldn't think that any guys would actually have the balls to do the above, the most they will say is "Me too", or "Cool", or "Okay", or "I know"...pfbt! If I'm a switch, you just turned me off...yea, safe the environment! Woot! =p)

(First of all, it will be difficult to actually find a clean, unpolluted location to lay down. Secondly, if only they have the patience to actually stare at those couple of dots in the sky with you! They'd much rather play games and spend time on "killing the boss" pfbt! Thirdly, this is just so impossible! LOL!)

I know, I am such a hater...LOL! I am entitled to my own opinions, thankyouverymuch *wink wink* Okay I am not in my best mood because I accidentally sliced my pinkie finger when I was cutting an apple (Ching, if you're reading this, yea it was pretty much like the potato incident you had). Not to mention the PMS weather! It is like we're in a Science Planetarium project and the school kids get to come by and press buttons to see how we get tortured in different weather changes, all in one day! Yes, it is that bad! Enough of complaining, back to @$$@y$!

Celebration of love pt.2

Sorry for the super late updates! LOL! The weather these few days have been a blast, sunny and cooling (not freezing), NICE! Anyway, Valentine's Day...most people I know don't like celebrating this particular day because they are single. Common people, it's not just lovers' day! There's no harm in spending it with your friends or even family =) Or in Nick's case, with food that he was craving for at the time...Malay food. LOL!

I spent THE day with Michael (a.k.a. Mike). Totally had great fun =) I got him (more like us) a pendant and as you can see, it's a couple's pendant. He's got the outer bit and mine, the feminine one =D

THEN, out of all the 14s there's one and only one 12! It IS a sign! No staff % but it was only 3GBP *halo on my head*

It's snowing AGAIN! Totally didn't expect it to. We (Me, Ching and FM) were on our way to Brent Cross and while walking, it just snowed =.= Anyway, my mum sent me this! Woot! It's nice! lol!

Okay back to Brent Cross, we drop by Sports World because it was my last day to get staff discount =p LOL! So I bought something I've always wanted...a pretty Nike hoody! I bought this because I returned that two pairs of 'tissue paper' jeans I bought from Dorothy Perkins.

I RESIGNED!

Today I had an appetizing lunch =)

Boiled potatoes with green pesto (herbs+olive oil) and melted cheddar cheese!
Walked to Uni and had the worst journey ever! Walking on ice is no fun!
I almost fell couple of times but managed to balance myself. There was a girl behind me and I bet she's laughing at my noob trainer-skating skills!

I over made the portion of my lunch so I made a light dinner at 8.30pm:
Mix vege soup: Cabbage, tomatoes, onion and carrot.

Oh yea! I gathered my guts and handed in my resignation letter today! I stood outside the shop for 10minutes trying to gather those guts. I don't know why I was so nervous but there goes 10minutes of my life worrying about something insignificant =.= Yes, I do that a lot! Unfortunately. LOL!
Hopefully the weather is not as bad tomorrow. Earlier today the weather forecast says there will be snow+rain. Now it's just rain. Wonder if it'll change again tomorrow morning? Maybe. Oh, and predicted snow AGAIN on Saturday. Hmm...

Goodbye SW

Today I was supposed to go to work but after less than 10steps out my flat building, I went back in. There was a guy walking pass me and he said, 'You better change your shoes, there's no way you can wear that'. Great! I was wearing my trainers and that wasn't enough?! I don't know what else to wear. LOL! So I called up my manager and had a 'argument' with him on the phone. Well basically he wants me to be at work and I quote:

"You will have to find a way to get to work!"
"I know it's slippery, it's slippery for me to drive to work too"

...exactly my point! Drive! That's like door to door?! I have to walk 20 minutes to the bus stop and then take the bus and then walk another 10minutes to the shop! Trust me, the floor is just not walk-able! I called up the cab company and they say it costs about 8pounds for me to get to work. That's one and a half hours of my pay! Why would I want to do that?! Madness!

Back to the work topic, I didn't go to work and I sent my manager a text. That is it! And I have decided to quit my job. It's taking too much of my time. I BELIEVE I would have enough to last me throughout the year, provided I don't start shopping =p So yes, I've already printed out the letter and I will hand it in this Friday =)

Snow snow snow

Told you I was on a Maggie craze...LOL!

The weather in London at the moment is...nice+horrible. LOL! Yesterday it started snowing at night and it snowed till this morning and throughout the day till now, which is at night. I went to the cinema yesterday evening and when I got out of the cinema, shock of my life! It's ALL white! Nice sight thou =p But I had to walk in the snow and that was an experience I wouldn't want to go through again. LOL!

Today, it was just major! Snowing throughout the day! There was no transport to anywhere and schools (and my uni) are even closed on this occasion. LOL! Nice =p Unfortunately, Sports World is still open...duh! Poor staffs...and I am working tomorrow =( So poor me too!

3rd day...

I woke up late today...and so I thought I could catch the earlier bus and eat at McD when I get to Brent Cross. For some reason, the road was super jam and left me with 15minutes to eat =.= I quickly ordered an EGG McMuffin meal (comes with a hash brown and coffee) and munch down as quickly as I could. I didn't even take a sip of the coffee as it was too hot (I even added three caps of semi-skimmed milk to cool it further but it was too hot =p) so I decided to drink it while walking there. As soon as I took five steps out the shopping complex, my coffee cooled =.= No joke! It's madness cold! Again, no picture...because I don't want to look like a jakun in McD!

This was my lunch...lol! Had it at work during break time.
I had a cup of Milo and some biscuits for tea and was munching nuts while chatting with Grace and Nick. Wanted to have dinner but we had some intense topic going on so I didn't really feel hungry =p
Time flies...chat and chat and it's already 9pm and I haven't had dinner. LOL!

Then I made dinner =p

Baked beans, sweetcorn and onions...LOL!

Because my dear friend needed me online, I had to grab what was available and get back on msn ASAP =p My dear friend, touched?! LOL! See you don't need a man when you have me =D Okay that sounds wrong but you know what I mean...if you really need a guy, I'm sure Nick is willing to sacrifice himself =p LOL! Stay strong!!! *Hugs* Oh yea! So because of this, discretion towards my diet? 1 and a half weeks? =p

It's -7 outside...seriously mad! It was snowing yesterday night and the night before. I didn't even know...until the next morning =p LOL! I think my employer underpaid me...going to sort it out (and do some shopping =p). Damn!

For some reason, people think they could get away with it. I just don't understand why are they living in this country if they can't speak English! How do you order food at restaurants? Buy things from the supermarket? Ask for help with certain things in a shop? And most importantly, when you want to do an exchange for things you bought?! English is an International language! For goodness sake, learn it!

It gives us a really hard time explaining that our company does not do refunds because it is our company policy and so we will give you a gift card that is valid for 18 months and you can use it at any Sports World branch. And all I get is...
'Money back! Money back!'
'I'm sorry, we don't do refunds so I could only put it in a gift card'
'Me dunno English. Money back, money back'
'No! No money back!'
'Why?'
HELLO! You can't understand freaking English!!! How do you expect me to explain to you all of the above?! Sheeeeeesh!

However, I think I am getting used to serving those kind of customers now. It is either I could unconsciously make them understand what I say or I am just scary enough to make them accept it. LOL! Today a lady that doesn't speak English came in to return a pair of shoes which couldn't be returned as it was a clearance item. My colleague was serving her and she was soooo pissed (I could see it from her face) but she didn't show it. She just kept saying, "I am so confused right now. I don't know what she's saying! I am seriously going to walk away right now! I can't serve her anymore!". LOL! She kept saying it to my supervisor too!

So I volunteered to serve that English-illiterate lady. Bahah! I did it. I just had to raise my voice a little and kept talking/explaining till she doesn't have a chance to talk! LOL! It was a nice feeling =p Some people just need smacking in the face (with words of course)! Oh! I got an idea! I'll prepare a script translated to different languages and bring it to work! LOL!

*PS: Dip your hands in flavoured syrup, go out without gloves for 5minutes and you'll get a Popsicle! Yes, it is THAT cold! Roar!

It snowed this morning/last night. Woke up this morning and the streets are lined with snow. Just before I am prepared to leave for work, it rained like there's no tomorrow! I had to use the plastic poncho to prevent myself from getting wet (because I don't have an umbrella) but it didn't work. I walked to Ching's flat to return her something and my trousers are already wet! I don't see how I can go to work in that weather! Hence, "gastric"! LOL!

An hour later...the rain stopped and the sun is out. %$#&$@^#@%@$ betul! Yesh...the weather here is annoying...having to take public transport to work is not any better! I miss Enfield! =(

Water encounters

Malaysian shoes are not to be worn here! When I went out this afternoon for lectures, it wasn't raining at all so I wore my 2 inch white patent covered heels. Big mistake! After lectures it was dark (duh!) and worst of all, raining! As me and Foong Mei pass the uni gate, we walked on the concrete pathway which was slippery from the rain and the fallen leaves. Also, the pathway down was a down hill path...not a straight one. Hence, me in that situation, I fargging fell! =.= Don't laugh!

I fell on my ass with my left leg folded in and my right leg straight out! Yes, I still can remember it! It wasn't a very bad fall as I fell slowly (for some reason) and I fell on my fleshy ass =p My jeans got wet thou...ish! And my journey back to the halls was rather...long. LOL! I had to walk slowly to make sure I don't land my ass on the wet floor again.

When I came back, I spilled a cup of water which I put by the heater (so that it doesn't absorb my body moisture) on the side table and it flow down to the carpet. One word...celaka!

Then I went to cook dinner. Somehow my encounters with water is not so...positive today. I turned the tap too much and the next thing I know, water was all over me. Two word...celaka betul! However, my shower was fine, Phew! =p Dinner tonight:

Tong Kuai with two CHICKEN DRUMSTICK and loads of red dates!

Eaten with white+brown rice and onion peas omelet.

*PS: The chicken drumstick is dedicated to my dear Gracey and Nicky...who's on a vegetarian diet for a week =p LOL!

Wednesday drinks.

It was cold today. Horrible weather. You can actually still see the snow build ups on the cars and road at this hour (ie 8.30pm) after yesterday's heavy snow. There was sun the whole day today but the weather is cold enough to not melt the snow. Interesting.

After class today, we went to the Students Bar to have a drink (yes, again) with Kyle. Vodka with orange juice this time and yes, I went RED after downing half. But it was a better progress than the beer last week. LOL! After alcohol, the stomach somehow gets empty...thus, food. Chinese again but a different restaurant. I ordered something and got something totally out of my mind.

I ordered Roast pork and roast duck in BARBECUE sauce with chow mein. Shock of my life...it's SO red! Even more red than my face after that drink! They seriously have this thing for red food! The portion is HUGE (as usual) but I didn't taste any barbecue sauce...the food was rather bland but there was a bottle of chilly sauce on the table. That saved me! Amazingly, that was really spicy.

We went back to the Forum (student bar) for a round of Malibu but sadly, it was closed. They were getting ready for an event (party) which cost 4pounds for entry. Thus, Malibu brought forward. LOL!

Snowing Autumn

First day of work today. Not too bad. I was put on tills most of the time (which is good!) and I was only doing a 5hour shift. Not bad at all! =D Some of the staffs are real nice...so yea...we'll see how it goes. This shop is definitely more messy than the one in Enfield and there are more stuff on each level! Basically the products on one and a half floor of Enfield is on the 2nd floor in Brent Cross...that's where I'm put at. Hmm. Another thing that shocked me...I'm not in their system but I'm working! Wtf?! They better pay me! Well I was told I am still one of their staff and today, I couldn't sign in using my payroll number! So they called up and check with the head office. Apparently, Enfield took me off their system =.= wadafark! So I have to apply as a freshman! Damn! The whole process is just...haih!
