Trip to fruit orchard

Updates! Yesterday we went to Hulu Langat...to my mum's friend's orchard. Great place! I've been there many times but I've not taken pictures before so this time, (with my 5mp cam phone =p) I managed to snap couple of pictures...well, a lot of pictures! LOL! This time, we went with my boss as well so it was fun...one reason being...

The aww-ness...

OMG OMG OMG!!! I'm having a farewell party from my current employer!!! Why am I making such a big deal over it? Hello?! I've only been working there for one month and I have a farewell =p Not to boast but...aww....how sweet?! =D Now I'm feeling the sadness as next week is my last week of work...The job was quite taxing at some point but it really gave me a whole new experience and I believe I have acquired the ability to deal with things I initially thought I couldn't deal with. What more, I met more lovely people who addressed me by my name (unlike in previous jobs where I'm only known as..."Excuse me" =p)!

I have met people there that gave me inspiration to be a even stronger, resourceful and wise individual (my gratitude to those people). I have learnt that business is something that I might be interested in in the future (yes, I'm still striving for the best for my BSc(Hons)Psychology). The laughter at work, the (kraa-t) sound of the printer, the coffee lady reminding me to make my coffee/tea/Milo once she boiled the water in the morning, the 'bloop-ing' sound of the water dispenser (I drink a lot of water!), the beeping sound of the photocopy machine indicating 'out of paper' or 'memory full', the 'tak' sound of the office door as it closes, the chit-chats of the excited people that showed up for trainings on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the silence in the office on Thursdays and Fridays, the rii-ringing sound of the telephone and then someone will pick it up and say 'Hello, BarterXchange'...It will all be in my head and heart for quite some time =)

All in all, it's one great experience I will never forget! I have met seniors in various kinds of business and it certainly broaden my views of the corporate world. I know I have been such a drama queen (it happens when I'm under stress) the past few weeks over work but...lets say I'm being 19 =p It is true when people say academic qualifications is not all you need, but also the experience you encounter throughout your life. Believe it or not, challenges make you a stronger and wiser person...It certainly made me one =) My deepest gratitude to those people who added another year old to my mental age =D Love y'all!!! LOL!

Weekend trip to Port Dickson turned disaster! Why? As you can see, the car below is my mum's car. Yes, it is badly dented at the front! Poor car! Everyone in the car was fine, except me...because...

Well, BIG mistake! I ended up with a sprained arm and a bruised hip/bum! I literally fell on to the bottom of the car!

That night...

The event.

Finally! The event is over! It's been a hectic week for me but I'm glad to be given the opportunity to organize a corporate event. Well the event was held yesterday at the Royal Commonwealth Society (never heard before? it's a bungalow turn to a sports club) at Damansara Heights...very near HELP University College (just found out yesterday). Anyhow, the event was kind of interesting. I met lots of people and some of them are really really nice.

I met a guy and he asked me what am I studying so I say psychology. Then he asked me to write out my full name and put down my full signature on a paper. So I did. He looked at it and started telling me about my characteristics. To be fair, some of it are pretty accurate. He emphasized that I an a very creative person and that I take it too far sometimes. In a way, if I don't control it, I might over-think...Hmm...LOL! He also mentioned that I am a person with high determination and aims. Although so, he says I tend to give up at times so need unconditional emotional support to make sure my determination continues (HMM...). He says that people who don't know me tend to think that I am unfriendly (I asked if I looked unfriendly =p) because of my height (WTF?!) but it is not my fault (duh!). Most girls (and guys) with low self esteem tend to feel intimidated by my height and thus, the conclusion: I'm not friendly...because I'm tall =.=

Basically he gave me FOC assessment on my personality and he says that he's been studying it since he was 19 (I think he's in his 40's). Interesting. He says he don't really agree with psychology and thus, he invented his own assessments. Using five of his assessments (including hand-writing assessment, signature reading, inventory and two more stuff), he's sure that he can tell a person's characteristic accurately. He added, he's got no idea why I'm taking psychology I don't quite seem to fit in that course. Ohh!!! He says I've got a lot of energy, very high levels of energy. So I need to go for a career that uses up my energy (like running around? well I do admit I can't sit still =p ). Well, say what you want, I am still going to pursue and complete my psychology course...and then I might take up something that involves...creativity and usage of energy?! LOL!

I got two CDs from my superior titled..."Freedom from stress" (I think she thinks I get stressed up easily) and "Powerful immune system" (I got sick from that 'wild night' and still am). Sweet. LOL!
