21st party dress =)

Okay I don't hate the postman anymore =p I got my redelivery and my book arrived in one piece. I plan to wake up 9am this morning and get ready to "greet" the postman that usually comes about 10-11am. My alarm clock rang and I laze around in bed till 9.30am and I still couldn't get out of bed =p "tuulut" the intercom rang...I sprang out of my bed, put on a hoodie and run to the intercom phone. "Postman here", he said. I was sooooo relieved! I looked like a crazy woman with my messy (xtra big) hair and PJs but I was too happy to even realize that until he's gone. LOL!My textbook!

Okay I know I'm only turning 21 next November but I am planning to have a formal party. Why?! Because I want to wear a nice formal dress =p LOL! So all this while I've wanted to 'create' a dress for my 21st...hopefully someone will be able to make my dress for me =D Here are some dresses I took from Tres Chic Boutique in Jalan Telawi, KL.

Things to keep me busy

I burnt my fried rice! With ham, shrimps, egg, vege and everything nice in it! Had to throw the whole thing. My brother would have ate it but I don't like eating food with burnt taste...it doesn't look burnt but...it is =p Sad but oh well.

I did not get my NEW pan yet. Waiting patiently. Classes are starting and yes, there are plenty of notes and journals to read...

But anyhow, I have another book for leisure =p Best of all, it was sponsored to me as my advanced Birthday present *Big smile* from someone miles away from where I am now. LOL! To begin my day, I tried searching for my book, 'Fabulosity' on Waterstone website (since WHSmith doesn't have it in yet). Amazingly, there are few branches that have A copy of the hardcover version and one of them was in Enfield Town. So I called up that branch to double confirm *LONGEST CONVO EVER*

Me: Hello! I would like to find out if you have the book 'Fabulosity' by Kimora Lee Simmons?
The Lady: What?! Philosophy?
Me: NO! Fa-bu-lo-si-ty?
The Lady: I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you? The line is choppy?!
Me: Oh okay. Fabulosity as in Finland, America...
The Lady: Finland? Okay...F-I-N...
Me: NO NO NO! F for Finland! Followed by A for America...
The Lady: Oh okay...go on...
Me: F-A, B-U... (pause for some kind of I-got-it signal)
The Lady: *silence*

Me: *Jumps and reach for the hidden sun and pull it out back* Yes, please. I will come by tomorrow to get it.

Me: Lim as in L-I-M (Luckily my surname is short and simple!)
The Lady: Okay. All done. Thank you for calling!

Went to Uni for two two-hour lectures. First lecture, too many people till I had to sit right at the back with no table. Nice. Second lecture, OMG! The lecturer...should be a great-grandpa (not kidding), should speak at a normal human hearing threshold, should speak clearer, should know what he is talking about!

Dinner time. I wanted to cook something elaborate but...I have a Malaysian flatmate and that's where the problem comes in. We cook at the same time...Malaysian dinner time. The kitchen is already bum-banging-bum and her friend came over to cook with her. So I decided to make something simple, quick and not stay in the kitchen for so long (coz' their cooking stink my baju!).

Flatmate's friend: So what are you cooking today?
Me: This is...no name la...my creation =)

Left sponge: The yellow bit is the normal sponge and the green bit is the roughest sand-paper (that I've ever seen and felt!) kind of scourer.
Right sponge: The green bit is the normal sponge and the white bit is like a loofah.

I lend my pan to my flatmate and... The before, imagine the pan without any of the silver/white lines! At all!

I told her about it. She said she'll get me a new one. Good! I don't mean to be mean but I can't cook in that anymore because the black coating will start to come off and it will rust! I'm already dying of cigarette smoke every night, this is something I don't need to further affect my health, thankyouvelimuch!

Had to steep a cup of chrysanthemum tea to calm my boiling blood!

Anyway, long post. It's exceptionally cold today. I'm getting my book tomorrow. Yeay!

Things not going my way?!

Yesterday I wanted to make a delicious spicy meal but...the water had to cut off on me! The water supply to my flat (and couple more blocks of flat) was cut off since 2pm yesterday and it came back on at about 8-ish pm! I couldn't even cook lunch, take my shower and cook dinner till after 8pm! Annoying! Well at least they got it fixed on the day itself or else you could smell me and Ching Yee all the way from Malaysia! LOL! (Kidding, we've got no BO =p)

Went to look for a job this morning at Brent Cross Shopping Complex (desperately need a job!) and hopefully some of them will call me back *fingers crossed* There's a WHSmith bookstore too! That was where I intended to buy my 'Fabulosity' book BUT they don't have it in yet and they're not even sure if it is coming in! *Screams* (Very disappointed!) Anyway, first class today...Applied social psychology. The lecturer gave a brief intro on the course content. We are studying Forensic Psychology. I thought of majoring in that...but after today, I don't think so! LOL!

Dinner tonight:

First time making 'Mun fan', Cantonese fried noodles' sauce...but on rice.

OMG-so-delicious! I didn't know I can cook that well! HAHAHA!

Basically what is in it; minced beef, prawns, carrots, cabbage and egg.

Sadly, all my energy from that meal was burnt from meditating and suppressing my anger in this cubicle of mine! Reasons:

1. Flatmates bringing friends: Drinking, running along the corridor, shouting, banging on doors, being retarded-ly, selfishly annoying and kiddy!

2. Smoke...cigarette smoke: Every night! I don't want to die young, seriously! One year of every night smelling this, I think it will definitely affect my health! (Unfortunately they are allowed to smoke in their room as long as they open their windows so that the smoke won't trigger the alarm and will instead run in to their next door flatmate's room and pollute their lungs!) WTF?!

Tomorrow will be a better, brighter day *BIG SMILE*

Last night I had a dream. A dream that got me drooling (literally) just thinking about it now. I dreamt that I was eating nasi lemak...with my hands *pouts-cries-faint* LOL! Maybe because it's Raya? Hmm....maybe. Damn! Craving for spicy food! Got an idea what to cook for dinner tonight =)

Oh oh oh! I found out that they have 'Fabulosity: What it is and how to get it' by Kimora Lee Simmons in bookshops here!!! And it is cheaper than Amazon! *screams* Can't wait to get it in my hands!!! *Muahahahaha*
