The life.

It's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I know why working people love Fridays and hence the TGIF! LOL! I like my job but it is just tiring. I am not complaining but I only have 6hours of sleep everyday (normally I need to have at least 8hours!) and the transportation to work is not the best. Well, welcome to the working world you say? I know. LOL!

I went to the accommodation office to enquire about the time we need to return the keys on 22nd June and they say by 10am. NICE! My friend is helping me move out in the evening of 22nd June! I asked if they would allow just till the end of the day and...lets say they are harsh mean people!!! Hmph! Anyway, I would have to ask if my friend could do it on the 21st instead. Mike is returning on the 21st itself and he would have to come and help me out. Poor thing =p

Worst of all, I haven't pack. Just 3-4 more days to move out (excluding weekdays as I do NOT have the time to pack at all!) and I only have a garbage bag sized winter clothes packed up. Great. I need to do something!

Anyway, I took half day off from work today as I had to go Uni to attend to something. Oh oh oh...Today is BC's Birthday! Woooot! But she just got back from Ireland so me and Ching Yee couldn't celebrate with her today. Either tomorrow or Sunday.

As I was typing this post, I called Ching Yee to remind her about meeting Keshia for lunch one Sunday. Then:

Anxiety FLOODED in! Too high till I pressed the 'END CALL' button when she said 'Hello?' =.= pai seh! So yes, I checked and.................I have every reason to be emo! It wasn't what I expected (definitely expected higher) but....it's the final class that counts?! Yeah...I'd like to think of it that way. At least I didn't fail any and......it's the final degree class that counts! LOL! There's more to life than dwelling over something you could not change. So...I am graduated?! Woooooooooot! Technically I am but still need to wait for Graduation Ceremony. I think. LOL!

Aih.....EMO larh! Luckily the pair of shoes I spotted on ASOS yesterday is gone today. If it was still selling, it's definitely added to my collection! Well the degree class was expected...just that the individual grades are a little disappointing. ROAR! Going to watch 'Apartment' and hopefully pack some of my stuff by today.

Oh btw, good news for some of you...I might be going back to Malaysia earlier than expected. Initially I thought of staying till end of August...but my mum just told me that I had to pay for my own accommodation for the next few months. Nice =.= I totalled it up and it is not a decent amount. The amount cut-heart!!! (not throat, but heart! *heart cracks*) Close to 1k pounds that is...*sigh* JOB!!!

BK-fetish flatmate!

One of my flatmate has got BK-fetish! No, I don't mean Burger King! He/she has Butter Knife fetish!

My butter knife was stolen (yes, it includes borrowing without returning) from my kitchen few weeks ago and I was unhappy because that was my one and only butter knife!

Ching Yee was kind enough to give me one of hers because she had 6! LOL! Unfortunately, the butter knife was too attractive looking *sarcasm* and it is now MISSING AGAIN!

Maybe the butter knives I used have some sort of 'smell' that arouses them! Sound sick, I know...but that's the only reason I can think of because there are 3 butter knives within reach by the sink and it is ALWAYS there! Steal those instead of mine!!! Damn it!

Catching up...7th-11th day

I know I haven't been updating my blog lately...my apologies! LOL! Anyway, here are the updates =)

Breakfast lately:

Oats with raisins

Lunch lately:

Toasted wholemeal bread with mature cheddar cheese and marmalade jam with Milo/coffee/Neslo =)

Toasted bread with vegetable chowder and a vegetarian samosa

Dinner:

I made a huge pot of Kurma with vegetables =)

Lasted me for two days! Carrots, potatoes and onions.

My new snack =s It's super nice! Well it's a cereal but I eat it on its own like nuts...and this is more addictive than nuts!

(oh, I cabut that basket out from the freezer because it's taking up the freezer space and I used it as a 'letter/fliers holder' LOL!)

I finally decided to move my bed!

(with some help of course...the bed is HEAVY! I tried turning it myself by pushing it and it got stuck at a very weird angle =.= Supposed to lift it up in order to fit properly)

So much more space to move around!

Wheeee *jumps in joy* but as you can see, my bed and duvet is basically touching the bed...lets hope no accidents will happen =p

These were actually in two huge boxes and the two huge boxes were in a huge delivery bag. LOL! It arrived 8am in the morning and they left it at the accommodation office. I woke up and got it from the accommodation office and went to get ready for work. I didn't even had the time to open it! *pouts* After work, I came back and became 'the girl that never gets Christmas presents before'! =p I bought 4 pairs of shoes but only 3 came because the other one was out of stock =.= and they charged me! So going to make noise! =p

This is sad case! The heel height is just nice and I wanted a proper ankle boot but it fits just nice. Well it's a little too tight at the front. So that's not a risk I want to take. So I'll return this =( Wish they have a size bigger but out of stock too!

4th day...

Finally! My raisin oats breakkie!

Today they replaced my flat's bathroom doors with new ones. The old ones are just ugly! LOL! I feel bad for troubling the dude...he had to take my toilet door off thrice! LOL! I had this thing hanging on the toilet door for my clothes and basically the toilet door can't close when I hang that hook thing. So I told the guy and he had to pull out the door and move it lower and in the process, he broke the hinge and need to get another one. I think he's pissed! LOL! Sorry but I need it! LOL!

The guy was still fixing my door and I had to borrow my flatmate's room to change because my relative is coming to pick me up to Wing Yip (proper Chinese supermarket) for lunch plus Chinese food shopping. LOL! I really had fun at Wing Yip. I'm like some jakun there!

Do I even need to talk about the oysters?! The size of my palm! One day I should try buying one and have it as A meal! LOL!

The King Prawn is proper huge too! The left ones are the big ones you get from Malaysia...compare that! LOL!

My relative bought this for me...there goes my vege diet! LOL! Sorry la guys...just this time okay? Can't put it to waste, right? =p

Bought a huge bottle of mushroom flavoured soy sauce, chili bean curd to eat with plain porridge, KAYA!!! and rock sugar.

Oh and a huge pack of (Maggie) noodles too. I also bought 1kg of frozen seafood but forgot to take picture, it's in the freezer. LOL!

I got this humongous calendar from Wing Yip and didn't know where to put! Had to hang it on the curtain rail with ribbons!

Because lunch was quite filling, I made mash potatoes, boiled parsnips and broccoli for dinner.

Attempt to be hero didn't work. Got hungry and made Lok Mei =p Used my rock sugar...first spoon brought me back to that stall in Sri Rampai! *Sigh*

Going to Brent Cross tomorrow to get my pay sorted out! They under paid me! And (maybe) do some shopping as well =p LOL!

New kitchen!

Walked to work this morning. Freezing cold! It was very cold last night as well which explains the slippery roads and icicles on the railings and even the grass. The grass looks white instead of green. Nice =p

As they were refurbishing my kitchen the whole of today, we couldn't use the kitchen. Hence, they gave us 15GBP for food =p
Well I reach work early so I went to eat breakfast in McD. Had McD's bacon, egg and cheese bagel for breakfast =p and a cup of coffee

Freezer moments!

I am sick. Yes, for the first time I have the worst sore throat ever! Can't talk in the morning so I tried to gargle salt water...I almost choked! I'm bad at gargling things. LOL!

Anyway, I did my laundry today before class and it didn't dry completely! Stpd dryers! It was even barely half dried! Maybe it was too cold for the dryers to work properly! Ish! Another cycle will be 50minutes but I have to leave for class in 10minutes. There is no other way but to hang it around all over my room!

Thanks to the parcel string from the box you guys gave me, I tie it to the window and my wardrobe door knob. LOL!

Last but not least, another bed sheet, pillow case and my duvet cover. It looks like a Grecian dress...LOL!

So yes, it's hot in here (have to turn my heater up so the clothes will dry) and it is freaking -2 degrees outside!

We went to Brent Cross Shopping Center after lecture today for fun and had dinner there. We walked all the way there in this CRAZY weather (thought I would sweat by walking but clearly not!) and in pumps! I totally couldn't feel my feet! Anyway, we walked around and I tried on some clothes but didn't buy any. We had McD for dinner and I had McFlurry Crunchie...yes, just that. LOL! McFlurry is just sooooo yummy! LOL! But I had noodles when I got home. Need something hot after experiencing freezer moments while waiting for the bus!

Aliens on Shi Sha

*BING BING BANG BANG* the kitchen door and someone's room door keep slamming! Dinner time. Went into the kitchen. Saw three aliens. Suspected they're one of my flatmates' friends. I proceeded to make my pasta. Felt annoyed with the noise they're making. Worst is about to happen. One of the guy said, "Who has the lighter?!". One word in my mind...f*ck! He lighted something up and I could smell it. I did not look and was hoping my pasta cook a little faster! IT STINKS! Smells like weed but it's not as strong. Then I smell a fruity smell. Confirmed. Shi Sha. Took a quick glance and yes, it is. Hopefully they disperse before midnight! Don't understand why people waste their money and time doing things like that. Sheesh! Yea...people who smoke Shi Sha is Sheesh-able! =p

Internet connection was down yesterday and yes, it was annoying! I didn't know I depended on the Internet so much! Hence, I went to bed at 10pm (for the first time since I got here!) but only fell asleep at 12am. My Internet is back...it's 2am and I am blogging...Hmm.
