Britain's got Talent 2009

So tonight is the finals of Britain's got Talent and coincidentally my relative called me up for a last minute dinner and yes, I get to watch it LIVE on TV =) Obviously there were so many talents and I did like couple of them...Aiden Davis, Hollie Steel, Shaheen Jafargholi and the infamous Susan Boyle.
The oh so cute Aiden Davis in action.

Tell me how can you not fall for that smile!!!
Totally miniature of Justin Timberlake!

Although so, I have always been a fan of modern choreography dancing and so the two dance groups competing in the finals are...
Boom baby! Diversity vs. Flawless!
Flawless in action...
Showing of their...assets...(not really a fan of this move)
The group =)
Oh one of the guy is my friend's bf. No idea which one though.
And here comes Diversity...
Some alien machine...
This is the imitation of how the judges buzz bad talents out of the competition. Creative!
And that kid! Goodness! He can flip some distance! Totally salute!
He did it couple of times! With no mistakes! Fantastic!
The diverse group of dancers, Diversity =)
The kid on the right is the 'flipper'. Damn talented! And he looks so cute too!!! *heart melts* =p
Yeah, I love Diversity and yea, they won. Woot! LOL!
Congrats to all anyway, you are all winners =)

Stream moviessss!

Movie time! LOL! Because I don't download movies/shows, I would have to stream them from websites. Lately I found a website with loads of up to date movies but of course some of them are poor quality =s

I watched Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian the day before on the website. The quality wasn't the best thou =s Anyway, if you would like to give it a shot here is the site: http://salloumi.com/svc?v=wMTIwYjQzZ

Yesterday I watched even more movies! Nick even gave me a new site to watch Asian horror movies. The site is really good! So many to choose from and it is sure to send chills to your spine! Am sure you know by now, Asian horror movies are the scariest! Anyway, the movies I watched yesterday:

Watched on salloumi.com too.
This is 15?!?! WHAT?!
Either I am a big baby or kids are getting more gutsy!
Watched on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/liantasha (this user have loads of horror movies too! With english subtitles!). Finished this movie at about 11pm and moved on to...
Then I watched Coming Soon on http://www.asian-horror-movies.com/coming-soon.php right after Ghost Game.
This is one horror movie!
After all that, I CLEARLY couldn't sleep! Why did I watch it then? Because I streamed it already =p LOL! So I look up Britain's Got Talent on youtube to stop myself from peeing in my pants when I sleep =p
For the record, my bed is dry this morning! LOL!

Today...
This is an old movie but just want to watch it again =)

And maybe another horror movie later...if my heart could take it. LOL!

When it is time to take charge.

Sometimes I wonder what is the significance of turning 21?

More responsibilities?
More challenges?
More decisions?
More obstacles?
More freedom?
More choices?

Well....
All of the above.

Because I am turning 21, maybe I have the freedom make decisions based on my choices in attempt to deal with obstacles and challenges in addition to fulfilling my responsibilities? I hope so.

I now understand why you were so pissed years ago when you were lost, thinking what to do and how to do it. I now understand why you were mad at certain people for letting you down, over and over again. It is great you find your way through with courage and determination. I hope I would too.

We live everyday for ourselves and not other people. We appreciate other people by showing support for what they want to do and not doing something against our will just because it is what they want us to do. Going against their will for our own will is not depreciation, disloyalty or disrespectful...it is the process of going through LIFE.

I believe that telling someone what to do and what not to do won't help them learn or achieve anything. It is so much like mentoring...giving people options to choose what they want to do. I used to think mentoring is like being a role model, telling people what they should and should not do. Clearly, it was a mistake. Mentoring is always for the benefit of the client, not for yourself or even for what you think would be best for the client.

I guess it is time for me to make my own decisions. There is so much to think about to the extent I am sick of thinking about it. I have heard all the words of encouragement and discouragement from people I know. Thank you for your opinions. I will take on my journey of life...

OMG so emo! Sounds like a suicide note...HAHAHA! Don't worry, I am no where near that. Anyway, I have decided! I will do it because I depend on no one and no one depend on me (for now that is). Then again, I am thankful for the choices and the freedom to make decisions =) (although it is stressing me out! pft!)

Cooking frenzy

Indeed, more cooking =)
My left-over ham and aubergine curry with egg noodles.
Potato salad with pork luncheon (ham)!
Rice with chicken Kiev, cold tofu and stir-fried vege =)
I bought this red pepper tortilla wrap and it was brilliant =)
Had it with chips and sliced peppers and cucumbers and avocado. LOL!
In my tortilla: Pork Luncheon ham with cucumbers and green peppers on melted mozzarella and cheddar cheese lined tortilla.
Oh I made these too! Nice!!!
Avocado wraps...with melted mozzarella and cheddar cheese, avocado and mayo.
Oh and this too!!! I should open a bar! LOL!
Ham and cucumber wrap with tomato sauce, melted mozzarella and cheddar cheese =)
Yesterday I made a huge pot of curry! Bought chicken after ages...so I decided to use up the packet curry sauce I had.
Ingredients: Chicken drumsticks, potatoes, green and red peppers, onions and spring onions and of course the Thai curry sauce (Alif brand).
Yea, it was a huge pot larh!
Erm sometime this week, I had my 2nd interview with SOVA and after the interview I went to Brixton Market =) I was bored and it was only a tube station away so why not? =D Well it was alright, things were really cheap. I didn't buy alot of things as I didn't have cash with me. Managed to dig out 2pounds? So yea...I bought:
Three LARGE mangoes =)
In supermarkets it's 1.50 each? And for a small one!
This is HUGE! And only 1.20 for three!!! Wooot!
I love mango larh! =D
Ohh btw, I am legally a volunteer mentor with SOVA =) Wonder if I could get a client before leaving =(

Updates.

Sorry for the MIA again! LOL! This LG Phone of mine is giving me troubles. I need to turn off the phone, take out the battery, take out the micro chip, put micro chip in casing before putting it in the laptop to upload pictures! Yes, that is why I feel lazy to repeat the process so I accumulate pictures to blog all at once =) Here goes...

OMG can't remember when I took this but some time ago. Trying out my stir-fry kuey teow with deep fried tofu and peas and corn. Looks simple but it is really nice!
Foong Mei's 'farewell'...yes, she is back in Malaysia now. Enjoying the food I guess. LOL! So we went to BC's place and we had dinner there. It is a NICE meal! They are really hospitable =) This is so Nam Heong Kai Fan except it is home cooked!
The huge tray of (skinless) chicken with cucumbers and spring onion and sauce. Rice cooked in the chicken stock, soup with spring onions and sliced ginger, garlic and spring onions in soy sauce to go with the chicken. NICE!!!
The huge tray of chicken! Super large!
The sauce to eat with...ginger, garlic, spring onions and soy sauce.
Dessert =) Profiteroles in Belgian chocolate sauce.
*hearts*
End of the day...(sorry, poor quality)
Sweet craze...I was early for training so I decided to visit Brent Cross Shopping Center after like 4months since my last visit. Went in M&S to get a sandwich but I came out with a sandwich AND TWO CAKES! I ate the other cake already so there's only one picture =p The other cake was Dark Chocolate Cake with Cherry filling. NICE!
This is too creamy but still love it! Cakes are my weakness! Ate both cakes all by myself in 5days. OMG!
Sedaps but Gemuks too!
Also, the other day I went grocery shopping after two weeks due to horrible weather and extreme laziness (ehh have to walk 20mins there and 20mins back with all the groceries k). So yea, bought loads of stuff.
Dinner last night.
Stir-fried aubergine with Chinese cabbage, asparagus, spring onions in curry sauce. Also, a ham sandwich. Also, potato salad with mayo and spring onions (not in picture). At the rate I am eating, I am freaked out myself!
Cooked this last night to stock up as my aubergine is going soft. LOL! Similar to above but with sliced fried tofu, green peppers, ham, squid, aubergine, spring onions in curry sauce. I think I am eating it with noodles tonight? Yea...most likely.
Besides the sinful cakes and curries, I also bought healthier option for snacks (yes, I eat snacks in between meals too! Shoot!). Haven't try this but I hope it is yummy.
Tried this with slices of banana. Totally yummy! This is a little salty so with the sweetness of the banana....*hearts*
Lately I have been applying for jobs and also sorting out my accommodation as my contract in the hall is till 22nd June. Found one and I am going to view it on Tuesday. Right after my 2nd interview with SOVA (the volunteering project). Yes, I completed the training! Woot! Anyway, now I need to pack up some of my stuff that I won't be using and send it back to Malaysia. I am also trying to sell some of my stuff off! Any UK-ians interested in organizing a collaborated 'Garage Sale'? LOL!
Lapar! Nak makan!

Cracking moments!

Wheeeeee!~ This is super thick! That is how toilet seat covers should be! Sheesh! LOL!
New cover =D
After my first 'crack' experience, there is just more to come =( And because my mum said I do a lot of unnecessary shopping, I attempted to show her how necessary I need shoe-shopping at this moment...
Crack...
Multiple cracks...
Craaaaaack....
And there is many more shoes that are CRACKED but I didn't take all the pictures...but you get my point.
I need to get a JOB!!!
Oh btw, good news for some of you...I might be going back to Malaysia earlier than expected. Initially I thought of staying till end of August...but my mum just told me that I had to pay for my own accommodation for the next few months. Nice =.= I totalled it up and it is not a decent amount. The amount cut-heart!!! (not throat, but heart! *heart cracks*) Close to 1k pounds that is...*sigh* JOB!!!

Accidental 'crack'

My curry laksa =p
The noodles is like 'pan mee' texture and yes, that is my 'tofu pok'!!!
LOL! Deep fried tofu...haven't had that in ages! However, there wasn't any laksa-ish feel...the curry paste don't have coconut milk in it =( Para he-hawker sekalian...I will haunt you when I'm back!!! LOL!
DON'T ASK WHY, WHAT, HOW!!!
When?...This morning!
My poor toilet seat cover...have to deal with flushing without covering the toilet seat for...2-3days?! Bacteria....*ewwww*
On the bright side...I decided to open the gift from my friend...the oh-so-nice-looking box of Leonidas Belgian Chocolates...
The top layer...
And the bottom layer! Two layers of chocolates...some with liqueurs and spirits. Nice!
Ohh! SOVA training yesterday was fun. Most of the volunteers are mature people...like...really mature. LOL! I think there's like 5 out of 15 around my age and the rest are...'mature'. LOL! Knowing the culture here, they were very keen in voicing out their opinions...and somehow they continue debating till the rest accepts their last say! Yes, mature indeed =.= Basically, I was the ONLY one that didn't manage to say something! Well I tried...I raise my hand and it didn't work. Maybe I should wear more 'blings' on my fingers and arms the next session! LOL! Next training (tomorrow), there will be a 'talking stick' which is in a way better =)
